PBS Plan & Implementation Review
Plan quality. Daily delivery. Practical next steps.
When outcomes are not improving, it is rarely because people do not care.
More often, the plan no longer fits the person’s current needs — or it is not being delivered consistently in real-world conditions.
This review clarifies what is happening, why progress has stalled, and what needs to change across the plan, environment, and systems that support consistent practice.
Service Overview
A PBS Plan & Implementation Review is a structured, person-centred review of:
-
whether the current plan reflects the person’s needs and context
-
how consistently the plan is being delivered (and what is getting in the way)
-
whether risk, restriction, and staffing are proportionate and defensible
-
what changes would increase safety, quality of life, and stability
The outcome is a clear set of practical recommendations that help teams move from holding risk to delivering confident, consistent support.
You will find detailed information below about what this review involves, who it supports, what we look at, what is required to proceed, and what you will receive at the end.

PBS Plan & Implementation Review
Workshop Focus Areas
Plan Fit & Functional Understanding
Does the plan still match the person’s current needs, communication profile, and likely functions of behaviour — or has the situation changed?
Daily Delivery & Consistency
What happens in day-to-day practice? Can staff deliver the plan reliably across routines, transitions, and stress points?
Risk, Restriction & Reduction Pathway
Are restrictions and staffing levels proportionate to current risk — and is there a credible pathway to reduce restriction safely over time?
Practice Leadership, Supervision & System Support
Are staff getting the coaching, supervision, and operational support needed for consistency, or is drift built into the system?

Next Steps
After the review, we offer a feedback session and a structured action-planning discussion so that recommendations translate into practical change.
Where implementation barriers sit at staff, management, or organisational level, we can provide time-limited follow-on support to strengthen practice leadership, reduce drift, and embed consistent delivery.
