Training & Workshops

Training that strengthens consistency and decision-making when distress escalates.

These workshops are designed for schools, children’s homes, family homes, and adult services where support becomes strained under pressure.

Each session is practical and outputs-led. Participants leave with clear definitions, agreed actions, and implementation steps that can be used immediately — not just slides or theory.

Delivered online or in-person. Commissioned in-house, with open cohorts released based on demand.

The Thrive Escalation Cycle Workshop™ (Full Day)

A structured, outputs-led workshop to stabilise escalation and crisis risk through shared operational definitions, stage-based responses, and clear implementation steps.

Time: 1 full day (6 hours)

Best for: Services experiencing rising incidents, inconsistent responses, increasing restrictive practice risk, or repeated crisis patterns.

Delivery: Online or in-person

Practice Leadership Implementation Programme

A structured programme for managers, team leaders and practice leads — strengthening supervision quality, day-to-day decision-making, and preventing drift across shifts.

Time: 2 on-site training days + cohort-based online implementation sessions + consolidation (on-site or online).

Cohorts: Delivered in cohorts of 4–8 (recommended 6–8). Organisations can run one cohort or two cohorts.

Format: Practical, applied learning (not lecture-based). Includes an online learning hub for templates, tools and supporting resources.

Delivery: Typically commissioned in-house (open cohorts released based on demand).

Readiness check: A short baseline alignment check is completed in advance (not used to exclude) to ensure the programme starts at the right level and to identify any helpful pre-learning.

Values-led leadership, fidelity, and decision-making under pressure — using a practical biopsychosocial lens to stabilise complexity without drifting into blame, inconsistency, or reactive restriction.

Delivery: Online or in-person

Commissioned & Bespoke Training

Training designed around your service, locality, or system.

Alongside the core programmes above, bespoke work can include:

  • ACT-informed values workshops (clarifying shared values and translating them into values-oriented actions and behaviours under pressure)

  • Escalation Cycle facilitation training for MDTs and practice leaders (building internal capability to run structured, outputs-led workshops with your own teams and across services)

  • System-wide tiered support design and implementation training (universal supports → targeted support → specialist pathways, including thresholds, routes, roles, and monitoring)

All commissioned work begins with a short scoping call to confirm purpose, participant mix, and the outputs required.

Enquiry

Share your setting, audience, and what is happening right now (school, children’s home, family home, adult service, or system-wide).

We confirm the purpose of the training, the right format (full day / half day / programme), who needs to be involved, and the outputs you want to leave with.

Where needed, we agree light-touch preparation (for example: key incidents/scenarios to focus on, current plans/policies to review, or a short readiness check for leadership programmes).

Training is delivered online or in-person and is designed to produce clear, practical outputs that can be implemented in your environment.
